Out of place

Last spring, I took the Easter lilies the church was going to throw out and planted them; it kills me to see a plant discarded even when it looks lifeless. Yesterday I woke up and saw them blooming which made me smile.  Ideas can be like that; you give up on it and think it will never work, when BAM! something happens to rejuvenate it. It may be in the form of a friend giving you advice and encouraging you, a family member struggling with their own demons and making you realize how lucky you are to be healthy, or something as simple as a lily blooming out of season.

That’s it for today; it’s a beautiful Sunday so go out and find your lily. It’s out there if you just stop to look. Better yet, help someone else find their lily…you’ll be glad you did.

Nice blog today, a good message. By the way, is that a Poinsettia from Christmas tt the right of the Lily plant?

Why yes it is! I rescued over a dozen of those and will transplant them before it frosts in the front. Thanks!
